GAMEMAX Spark, a case that appears to be very sturdy with two tempered glass panels. The case is sold at a price range of around Rp.600,000 – Rp.700,000. It also comes in two color variants, black and white, and we opted for the white color. GAMEMAX Spark itself is made of active carbon steel material.
GAMEMAX is a brand that emphasizes the needs of gamers with creativity and artistic flair. GAMEMAX is the result of a collaboration between Louis Carter and David Zhong, with Tom Zhang serving as the Chairman. The brand was established in 2015.
1. Box, Weight, The completeness
The cardboard box has dimensions of 480 x 280 x 410mm with a gross weight of 5.5kg and a net weight of 5kg.
The items included in the case package are 5 cable ties, 1 Velcro strap, 1 motherboard stand-off tool, and a package of screws.
2. Case view
The dimensions of the case are 398 x 204 x 326mm, and it is made of active carbon steel.
The front panel of the casing consists of:
- Power Button
- Mic and Headphone jack combo
- USB Type C
- USB 3.0
This case does not provide a reset button.
3. Inside Look
How to Open
To open it, you need to remove two screws located at the top rear of the case. Then, slide the top cover towards the back to open it. Once it’s open, you will find two screws on the right side and two screws on the left side to remove the side panels of the case.
You need to remove the two screws on the right and left sides, and then slowly lift the top cover upwards. At the bottom of the case cover, there are circular hooks to attach it to the lower part of the case frame.
This case has only one spacious compartment and several spots to accommodate fans. It supports Micro ATX or Mini ITX motherboards. It is compatible with ATX power supplies. The case also provides storage options, including two SSDs on the bracket and one SSD/HDD at the bottom of the case.
On the right side, there is space for cable management and a dedicated spot to mount SSDs. So, there are ample storage options available in this case.
In the CPU area, the maximum height for the CPU fan is 168mm, and for the VGA (graphics card), the maximum length is 355mm. The case also features 4 PCIe slots at the bottom. As for the fans, there are several options available for fan placement.
At the bottom, you can install either 3 120mm fans or 2 140mm fans, which come with removable dust filters. However, please note that if you choose to install storage at the bottom of the case, you may only be able to accommodate 2 120mm fans instead of 3.
On the top, there is space to install either 2 120mm or 140mm fans, which are equipped with a non-removable dust filter. At the rear, you can install 1 120mm fan.
This case also supports 240mm water cooling, which can be installed either at the top or bottom of the case. Please note that the maximum thickness for the bottom water cooling is 25mm, while for the top it is 52mm. Additionally, a 120mm water cooling can be installed at the rear.
4. Assembling Experience
After assembling, there were no significant issues. The installation of the PSU went smoothly, and there were no problems with installing the motherboard. The only thing to note is the position of the front panel cable routing. If you are using water cooling at the bottom or installing fans at the bottom, it is recommended not to pass the cables through the bottom area, as it may become difficult to manage them.

- At the bottom
- On the bracket that has been provided
- On the right side of the casing
On the right side, you will find four mounting holes for attaching your SSDs. Inside the bag of screws, you will find several spacer screws that can be fitted with rubber inserts. Insert the spacer screw into the rubber insert, and then screw it onto your SSD. Once done, you can attach the SSD to the provided mounting holes.
There are no issues at all with the installation of storage and VGA.
5. Conclusion
With a price range of Rp.624,000 – 714,000, you will get an artistic and sturdy case. This case features two tempered glass panels, one on the right side in black color and the other on the left side in clear color, making it visually appealing.
This case provides numerous options for installing fans and water cooling, which means it has excellent airflow.
During the installation, there were no significant issues, except for cable management, which needs to be taken into account. We believe this case is suitable for placement on a desk due to its attractive design and aesthetic appeal. However, it can also be placed under a desk without any problem.
