The Englight En-200 case is a mini tower case that comes from PT.Enlight. PT. Enlight itself is a company that specializes in the sale of PC peripherals, including PC cases and power supplies under the Enlight and Infinity brands, and this company is based in Indonesia.
This case comes in two color options: black and white, and we opted for the white color. Upon first glance, the case looks stunning, with a unique airflow design. It is constructed from sturdy iron material, and its surface has a textured finish resembling orange peel.
1. Box, Weight, The completeness
The cardboard box has dimensions of 395 x 205 x 305mm and a gross weight of 3.5kg, with a net weight of 3kg.
The completeness obtained in the sale of this case includes 6 cable ties, 6 case feet stands, a power cable, and a packet of bolts.
2. Case view
The dimensions of the case are 260 x 166 x 355mm, and it is made of sturdy iron material.
The front panel of the casing consists of:
- Tombol Power
- Power Indikator
- Audio Jack
- USB 2.0
- USB 3.0
This case does not provide a reset button.
3. Inside Look
How To Open
Simply remove the 2 bolts at the back, and there is a lever to assist in lifting the cover.
What’s unique about it is that the cover has two hooks on the sides to attach it to the casing. So, when you want to close it, you need to slide the cover slightly forward before it can be properly closed.
On the other side of the cover, there are no screws, which means there is no space for cable management. The motherboard will be directly mounted on the inner side of this case cover.
This case only has one large compartment and one rear fan. It supports both Mini ITX and Micro ATX motherboards. It can accommodate both ATX and SFX power supplies. The case includes one PSU and one fan in its package.
The inside of the case contains:
- PSU 300W
- USB 2.0 cable
- USB 3.0 cable
- Front Panel cable
- Fan 80mm
Cable on default PSU:
- 24 pin motherboard power cable
- 2 SATA 3.0 power cables
- 1 molex power cable
- Additional motherboard power cables
- No PCIE cable
Note : The default PSU cable isn’t very long.
There are several places to place your storage devices. Firstly, at the bottom, you can place 1 SSD and 1 HDD. At the front, there is a bracket for installing 1 SSD or HDD.
Note : The bracket that came with the casing is slightly bent.
For the CPU, the maximum height for the CPU fan is 14 cm. As for the VGA, the maximum length is 25 cm, and the maximum height is also 14 cm. Unfortunately, this case only provides one fan placement, which is at the rear. At the bottom, the case has 4 PCIe slots.
4. Assembling Experience
After assembling, initially, there was a difficulty where the metal on the PCIe slot couldn’t be opened. The metal was still stuck, so it required a little more effort to open it.
There are 2 places to install SSD / HDD
- At the bottom
- On the bracket that has been provided
The installation of SSD and HDD at the bottom and the bracket was smooth without any issues.
We encountered a second issue when installing the power cables for the storage devices at the bottom. Due to the limited length of the included PSU cables, we had to pass the power cable beneath the motherboard to connect it to the bottom SSD/HDD.
The position of the power pins is located above the VGA. There were no significant issues during the VGA installation. It is recommended to connect the front panel before installing the VGA card.
In addition, for motherboards with a Micro ATX form factor and the front panel positioned at the bottom, it can be quite challenging to install the front panel if the VGA card is installed first. The available fan size that can be installed is only 8cm, which may not be sufficient if there is only one fan.
The installation process for other cables is relatively easy and without any issues. All cables will gather at the top of the case, next to the PSU.
5. Conclusion
With a price of Rp.400.000, you will get a MATX case along with an ATX power supply, and it looks small and beautiful. This case comes in two color options, black and white. The purchase package of this case already includes a 300W ATX power supply. However, it is unfortunate that this power supply does not come with PCIE cables, so you cannot use VGA cards that require power pins.
This case also only provides one fan placement at the rear, which we feel is inadequate if you are using a VGA card because the airflow for the VGA’s heat dissipation may not be optimal.
This case is suitable for office use as it is compact and does not require much space. Whether you position it on top or underneath the desk, both options are equally suitable, so there’s no need to worry about where to place it since the design of this case is already excellent.
Hopefully, this article can broaden the knowledge of friends regarding the Enlight En-200 case.
